Following their debut album on Sdban Ultra in 2023, the pan-European band KAU continues their energetic trip with the single "Kaugummi" (chewing gum) and announces upcoming limited double A-side 7" vinyl release.
'Kaugummi' latest original track by the trio and fully draws on their authentic band dynamics. The idea evolved by combining a 'dub' bassline with a rapid drum pattern, while remaining insistent on the unapologetic, richly diverse, and grooving elements the band is known for in their live shows.
Along with this single, KAU announces their upcoming limited double A-side 7" vinyl release Kaugummi / Mad Kau. This EP, to be released in September 2024, is packed with intricate synthesizer arrangements, rapid drum patterns, and deep resonant basslines, is once again focused on capturing and translating their infectious live sound to tape.
First single Kaugummi was released today, 14 June 2024 via Sdban Ultra.
